Literary structure (chiasmus, chiasm) of Gospel of Mark

Chiasmus and Concentric Structure of divided by 3

When the whole text is divided in three equivalent pericopes, three concentric structures appear. Three centers in divided in three structures are "A multitude at the seaside" (no. 14, Mark 3:7-12), "Jesus again foretells his death and resurrection" (no. 41, Mark 9:30-32), "The preparation for the Passover" (no. 68, Mark 14:12-16). No. 14 is about that Jesus is the Son of God (Mark 3:11), no. 41 is about the Passion and the resurrection, no. 68 is about the Passover. Therefore, this structures would indicate that the Passion and the resurrection of the Son of God fulfills the Passover.
